Albus Wang is a Mongolian Chinese non-binary transgender artist and spiritual leader whose life and work span the distance between Los Angeles and Beijing. As a multi-media creator and community organizer who transgresses both borders and genders, Albus utilizes the camera as a tool for advocacy and connection, viewing the act of being seen as a sacred ritual. Their images do more than document. They explore the spiritual dimensions of transness, capturing the quiet strength and exuberant joy found within the community. By highlighting the beauty and poise of their subjects, Albus creates a visual resistance against gender inequality. Transcending Yin-yang (2025) is their first publication. Their latest publication is Trans Diaspora (2026).
